Gianni Modolo

Architect founder

Over 25 years of exciting work dedicated to the most beautiful profession in the world, within internationally acclaimed architecture firms, including Pritzker Prize-winning ones, in the design and execution of high-value projects of excellence.

After studying engineering in Padua, Gianni obtained his degree in architecture from the University of Venice. During his studies, he joined Renzo Piano's firm and remained there for several years after graduation.

He then had the opportunity to manage large-scale projects, such as one for the Louvre Museum with Mario Bellini and Rudy Ricciotti, followed by the first mixed-use tower in Nigeria with Enia Architectes.

In early 2014, he took over the leadership of Axel Schoenert's architectural firm, specializing in building rehabilitation and high-quality interior architecture, transforming obsolete buildings into structures with genuine environmental stakes.

Since 2016, he has been a member of the management committee at 2Portzamparc agency, where he oversees several projects such as the Science Hall in Shanghai and the Artificial Intelligence Tower in Taiwan.

In parallel, in 2006, he founded "Atelier Locis," a multidisciplinary firm that combines three complementary disciplines: architecture, art, and design, with a desire to enhance the quality of life in inhabited spaces.

He designs apartment rehabilitation projects and boutique stores in Paris and China, handcrafted design objects, and relief paintings.

His expertise is comprehensive and diverse, encompassing various types of programs, including interior architecture and luxury design.
