Architect founder
Plus de 25 années de travail passionnant consacrées au plus beau métier du monde, au sein d’agences d’architecture de renommée internationale, dont certaines lauréates du Prix Pritzker, dans la conception et la réalisation de projets d’exception à forte valeur ajoutée.
Après des études d’ingénierie à Padoue, Gianni obtient son diplôme d’architecture à l’Université de Venise. Durant ses études, il rejoint l’agence de Renzo Piano, où il poursuit son parcours pendant plusieurs années après l’obtention de son diplôme.
Il a ensuite l’opportunité de piloter des projets d’envergure, notamment pour le Musée du Louvre avec Mario Bellini et Rudy Ricciotti.
Il collabore avec nombreux cabinet d’architecture comme Enia Architectes, Axel Schoenert et Chabanne Architectes.
Du 2016 au 2022, il est membre du comité de direction de l’agence 2Portzamparc.
Parallèlement, il fonde « Atelier Locis » avec la volonté d’améliorer la qualité de vie dans les espaces habités.
Il conçoit des projets de réhabilitation d’appartements et de boutiques à Paris et en Chine.
Il conçois et réalise également des objets de design ainsi que des tableaux artistiques en relief avec des matériaux innovants et écologiques comme le mycélium.
Sa technique consiste de réaliser des moulages en plâtre dans lesquelles faire croitre le mycélium.
Une fois que le mycélium s’est développé et a rempli le moule, il est stabilisé et démoulé afin d’obtenir le produit artisanal final.
Son expertise est globale et diversifiée, couvrant de nombreux types de programmes, notamment l’architecture intérieure et le design de luxe.
For more than 25 years, Gianni has devoted his passion to what he considers the most beautiful profession in the world, working within internationally renowned architecture firms, including several Pritzker Prize-winning practices, on the design and delivery of outstanding high-value projects.
After studying engineering in Padua, Gianni earned his degree in architecture from the University of Venice. During his studies, he joined Renzo Piano’s firm, where he continued his professional journey for several years after graduation.
He then had the opportunity to lead major large-scale projects, notably for the Louvre Museum alongside Mario Bellini and Rudy Ricciotti.
He collaborates with numerous architectural practices such as Enia Architectes, Axel Schoenert, and Chabanne Architectes.
From 2016 to 2022, he was a member of the executive committee at 2Portzamparc.
At the same time, he founded Atelier Locis with the ambition of improving the quality of life within inhabited spaces.
He designs apartment renovation projects and boutique stores in Paris and China.
He also designs and creates furniture pieces, design objects, and artistic relief paintings using innovative and eco-friendly materials such as mycelium.
His technique consists of creating plaster molds in which the mycelium is cultivated.
Once the mycelium has fully developed and filled the mold, it is stabilized and removed to obtain the final handcrafted piece.
His expertise is broad and diverse, covering a wide range of programs, particularly interior architecture and luxury design.
